Orca Resin Grazing Board
The magnificent Orca holds a special place in the local lore of Eden dating back thousands of years to their cultural and spiritual relationship with the indigenous Yuin First Nations People. With occasional sightings still occurring in the area, we can’t help but admire and pay homage the majesty that is this powerful animal. This is both practical as a grazing board, or equally as breathtaking as an art piece hung on a wall.
Using a 150watt C02 laser we precisely engrave the image into the mixed acacia timber cutting board. The resulting form is then filled with resin to create beautiful, unique pieces which you can treasure forever!
Two size options are available:
Small - 42cm (L) x 18cm (W) x 1.5cm (H)
Large - 72cm (L) x 28cm (W) x 2.5cm (H)
This particular board was made with a combination of Golden Indigo and Matt Black resin to create this dramatic contrast between the Orca and the timber. We have a range of other colours available to choose from, but we can honestly say that every colour looks stunning!
When you select Order Now! simply fill in the form requesting your colour selection. It may be one or two colours. If you simply cannot choose we will choose the best colours for you! Either way it will be beautiful!
PLEASE NOTE - Each piece is made custom to order. It takes approximately 1 - 2 weeks to produce each piece after ordering.
Due to the variable nature of timber and resin each item will be complete with all the beautiful imperfections and variations which make it unique. The colours depicted in these images may not exactly reflect the colour you see in person, but we guarantee that it will still be just as stunning in person!

Our colours are made exclusively using Black Diamond Pigments which use the highest grade mica pigment available (10-60 microns). These pigments are non-toxic, 100% vegan, cruelty free, and ethically sourced.
All boards are finished using Osmo Chopping Board Oil which is an oil/wax combination. It is food safe when dry, extremely stain resistant, resistant to wine, cola, tea, coffee, water and fruit juices, and has a microporous breathable finish which does not crack, peel or flake
Additional Advice:
For cleaning, a damp cloth is recommended. Where grease etc needs to be removed we recommend using a pH neutral or plant based detergent such as Osmo's Spray Cleaner. Avoid using chemical detergents as these will strip the finish from the board over time. Washing your chopping board in the dishwasher is not recommended.
